What is Euro Coin?

EURC is a euro-backed stablecoin: each EURC is backed by one euro held in reserve, so its value stays effectively unchanged (1 EURC is approximately 1 EUR). It is issued by Circle, which holds the corresponding euro reserves. Unlike cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, whose value fluctuates, EURC is designed to preserve value.
