We are updating CryptoUnity.
CryptoUnity is being updated and, together with our new regulated partner BitGo, it is becoming compliant with the European regulation on crypto assets (MiCA). Custody and trading are now provided by BitGo, one of the leading and supervised digital asset custodians in the world.
Alongside MiCA compliance, the app is also being revamped with a simpler and better user experience. Your funds are safe at all times, while we at CryptoUnity keep doing what we do best: making the app simple to use and explaining the world of crypto and investing in plain language.
Good news: you do not need to sell most of your crypto
In our previous notice we recommended selling all crypto to EUR. We now have more precise information: most cryptocurrencies stay and will automatically migrate with your account to new, safer custody. You only need to take action for the cryptocurrencies we will no longer support (below).
Cryptocurrencies that stay (automatic migration)
These cryptocurrencies stay and migrate automatically; you do not need to do anything for them:
BTC, ETH, DOGE, SOL, XRP, BAT, CHZ, CRV, MANA, PEPE, DOT, LTC, BCH, ADA, POL, SHIB, AAVE, AXS, LINK, XLM, ALGO, ATOM, AVAX, GRT, NEAR, UNI
Cryptocurrencies we are discontinuing (action needed by 29 June 2026, 18:59)
After the update we will no longer support the following cryptocurrencies:
CUT, BNB, TRX, TON, HBAR, QNT, SAND, YFI, CVX, KSM, S, FLOKI, ETC, GALA, AMP, APE, GNO, LUNA2, RUNE, XTZ
If you hold any of them, sell or convert them to EUR by 29 June 2026, 18:59. If you do not, after the deadline we will convert them to EUR for you in line with our Terms and send you an email summary (confirmation) of the conversions. The EUR remains available in your account.
New cryptocurrencies
After the update, new cryptocurrencies will also be available, including: APT, ARB, COMP, SUI, USDC, EUROC.
How the update works
Android: We will update the app from around 30 June 2026. You will complete a short re-verification and agree to the updated terms, after which your EUR and supported crypto will be available again, as will buying and selling.
iOS: The process is the same, but the update date is not yet known. Between 29 June 2026 and the update, crypto will be temporarily unavailable; only EUR will be accessible, for withdrawal. Withdrawals may take longer during this period and are handled individually. Buying will be possible again after the update and re-verification. We will notify you as soon as the date is known; the update is expected to be available next week, but this may be extended.
Recommendation for iOS: if you want your funds quickly accessible during this period, sell your crypto to EUR by 29 June 2026, 18:59; you can then withdraw the EUR at any time.
After the update
When the updated app is ready, you complete a short verification again and can buy and sell crypto once more. As a thank you for being with us through this transition, for the first 2 weeks after you register again you will buy and sell with no fees.
Withdrawing EUR to your bank account
You can withdraw EUR at any time to the bank account you previously transferred from. If you have only paid by card so far, you may need to make a small confirmation transfer from your own account before your first withdrawal. Our support team is happy to help.

Bitcoin stalls below $65,000 while ETF money quietly returns — what actually moved this week
A $114 million hardware wallet hack, the best ETF inflow week since April, and a market that refuses to move in either direction. This week had three stories that matter to beginners — and one warning from EU regulators that you should read before anything else. We explain each one calmly, in plain language, and show what it means for you.

Why do crypto prices move so much?
It's the question every beginner asks after their first week: why does the number keep moving? The answer isn't "because crypto is crazy" — it's four specific mechanics, and once you know them the movement stops feeling random. No jargon, no predictions, just how the machine actually works.

How much money do you actually need to start with crypto?
"I don't have enough money" is the most common reason people put off starting. And it's almost always wrong. We explain why the entry barrier isn't what you think, why starting small is actually smarter than starting big, and how to work out the amount that lets you sleep at night. No jargon, no pressure.
